Off-Season Fitness Training

Nathan Craze will be holding Summer Fitness Classes for all Junior Belfast Giants members. The classes will be held at the Tullycarnet Recreation Centre’s Sports Hall – in walking distance from Dundonald Ice Bowl. The classes will be different for each age group and will include: cardio training, strength training, power training and fun fitness games. The cost will be £4 per person. Friends and family are welcome to join.

The first session dates are:

Wednesday 2nd June
5.45pm – 6.45pm – Under 10s & 12s

Thursday 3rd June
6.00pm – 7.00pm – Under 14s & 16s
7.00pm – 8.00pm – Under 18s & Over and Parents

JNR GIANTS V LBM GIANTS

On Sunday 16th May Face off 5pm at the Ice Bowl.

The JNR Giants will play the LBM Giants (past, present and future)

If you wish to play in this game you must register at the desk at any training session before the 12th of May. NO NAME NO PLAY

Sunday trainings will be now games (teams will be picked on Sunday) 10/12s please use C/B shirts.

THIS SUNDAY THE JUNIOR GIANTS ARE PLAYING THE DUNDALK BULLS. THE 14S 16/18S ARE IN DUNDALK, THE COACH WILL LEAVE THE ICE BOWL AT 07.30AM. FIRST FACE OFF IS 09.30AM. THE 10S/12S ARE PLAYING AT THE ICE BOWL, FIRST FACE OFF IS 5PM.

THE FRIDAY LATE TRAINING (10.15-11.30PM) IS NOW OPEN TO ALL TEAM PLAYERS FROM THE UNDER 14S/16S.

U12 TEAM TRAINING

THERE IS TRAINING FOR THE U12 TEAM AND THE PLAYERS FROM THE U10 THAT PLAY UP FOR THE 12S, THIS SATURDAY AT THE ODYSSEY FROM 1PM TILL 2.30PM.

CROSS BORDER GAMES THIS SUNDAY FOR 10/12 IN DUNDALK. THE U14 AND U16/18 WILL BE PLAYING AS JUNIOR GIANTS V DUNDALK BULLS IN DUNDALK. THIS IS TO REDRESS THE MISTAKES THAT THE COMMITTEE MADE ON SUNDAY AND INTRODUCE A NEW IMPROVED BENCH COACHING SYSTEM. COACHES WILL LEAVE THE ICE BOWL AT 7AM.

CROSS BORDER

The cross border events will re-start on the 14 February at Dundalk. From now on all cross border will be games! Until then please ignore the calendar on the JBG web page. Before the 14th Feb there will be a Junior Giants v Junior Bulls game for all ages, date and times to follow. This Sunday 24th Jan, due to Belfast Giants game at the Odyssey the 2 hour training has been cancelled sorry.

TRAINING

Due to the LBM Giants game at the Ice Bowl, all training on Wednesday 20/01/10 has been cancelled. This Sunday training at the Ice Bowl is Junior Giants training and not Cross Border games as shown on the calender.
