Fundraising Bucket Collections

To all Junior Belfast Giants members,

At our AGM we heard how our committee is keeping our ice fees at the same level for this forthcoming season.  However we need, as a club, to focus on fundraising, which will help with costs, including travel costs, coaches courses etc.

At the beginning of our new season, our new Fundraising Officer Aeidamar Sally will issue every member with our proposed fundraising calender for the year.  In the meantime though, our club has two events already organised for August.

15th August

On Friday 15th August, we have arranged a bucket collection in Asda, Coleraine.  We have already some volunteers for this day, however if there is anyone who would be willing to give up 2 hours of their day to help out.  Asda Coleraine was the only Asda who replied positively to June Boyd, who had written to all Asda stores in Northern Ireland.

25th August (Bank Holiday)

On Monday 25th August we have organised a bucket collection in Belfast City Centre. For this we would ask everyone to try and help out for 2 hours.  We can collect all around the city centre, and as it is the last bank holiday before school is back, we believe it will be a very busy one, therefore potentially a good day for Junior Giants.  However we need your help.

If you can give up some time, please contact Aeidamar on or your team manager.

Thank you.
